Stratford-on-Avon District Council is committed to improving the delivery of our planning enforcement services and is currently holding a 6-week consultation on a new Local Enforcement Plan (LEP) and we would like your views.
The LEP is central to the District Council’s commitment to maintaining high performance and prioritising cases involving the most serious breaches of planning control.
The draft LEP has been updated following a workshop with District Councillors. It now provides clearer prioritisation of enforcement cases and guidance on when investigations will not proceed (e.g. insufficient evidence, breaches outside defined categories, or no planning harm demonstrated).
Have Your Say
The plan is now out for consultation, and we invite your feedback. Read the document here and use the link below to submit your feedback.
Please submit your comments here: https://online1.snapsurveys.com/localenforcement
Deadline: 12noon on 4 March 2026
After the consultation closes, all responses will be reviewed, and any necessary revisions will be made before the final version is adopted.
